Located within Virgin Hotels Dallas, this approximately 25,000-square-foot capstone project explores the intersection of hospitality, retail, and recreation through immersive, community-centered design. The Virgin Hotels renovation spans just less than 15,000 square feet across level one amenities and typical guest floors, transforming the boutique hotel into a more family-friendly hospitality experience inspired by the concept “Reaching for the Stars.” The Wonderground, located on the level four rooftop amenity floor, is a 7,000-square-foot inclusive recreation space created in partnership with Children’s Health that promotes wellness, sensory-conscious play, and connection for children and families. Completing the project, the 3,000-square-foot Valentino boutique introduces a luxury retail destination within the hotel that enhances the elevated atmosphere of the Dallas Design District.
